Welcome to the website for the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at the  Univeristy of Alberta.  We are committed to excellence in musculoskeletal education, research and patient care.

We regret that emails asking for surgical advice or sources of surgical information are not answered.  Under the Canada Health Act, all patients must be referred to an orthopaedic surgeon by a family Physician, therefore the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery cannot provide any surgical referrals.
